The project went to tender and on 4 January 2019, the contractor – Pracownie Konserwacji Zabytków (Preservation of Monuments’ Workshop) “Arkona” – was selected who prepared the designs for the adaption of the building and creation of a permanent exhibition.
On 1 April 2020, Arco Systems from Oświęcim was contracted to undertake the construction project, and carried out works comprising renovation, extension and change of use of the building for the needs of the Remembrance Museum.
