Pillars of Remembrance situated in the cemetery in Markt Indersdorf commemorate the youngest victims of Nazi terror.
In 2006, pupils of the local grammar school engraved the names of the children on oak pillars. In the 13 years of its existence, however, this installation was damaged by the weather. A new memorial was created in 2019 at the initiative of secondary school pupils in Markt Indersdorf. The names of the children are burnt into three large stainless-steel tubes. Candle compartments encourage individual commemoration of the victims.
